I have 3 books for paper I but Trueman's book is undoubtedly No. 1 and the best among all. I bought 2013 edition nd must say the theory is perfect and questions are very balanced. Most important this book has all correct answers. Previous years solved are of great help.

No doubt, excellent and most authentic book for Net paper I. Many questions have appeared in toto from this book in last years' exams. The questions are varied and relevant acc. to exam pattern. I am liking this book and strongly recommend for NET/SET. Moreover, thanks to flipkart for timely delivery and nice packing of the book.

Update : Happy to say that I cleared LS (Lectureship) in UGC NET December 2013. Score in Paper I (this paper) was over 70%.

Got it after reading the glowing reviews. I don't know if this is the best book since I haven't tried out the others. Still, have to say that the presentation and content is great. A bit compressed compared to the MCQs. One problem is that some of the answers given seem rather weird, and one wonders if there are typing errors in the answer chart.
