The Truck UGM-11 represents a new generation of UGEARS mechanical models with greater sophistication and more features. This model runs, shifts, steers, and accelerates just like a real truck. First fuel up by turning the lever on top of the cab. Then start the engine with the shifter in idle and see four pistons moving realistically under the folding hood. Open the cabin door to find a fully functioning steering wheel and even a working gas pedal. Ready for a ride? Shift the transmission into forward or reverse and watch your truck head back to the fields for another load of hay. The Truck UGM-11 is what we call 100% Rubberpunk, meaning a perfect blend of clockwork and steampunk worlds. We deliberately designed this model to have a raw, open look so even the casual observer could appreciate the marvels going on inside. This kit may take some time to build, but the rewards are absolutely worth it for those who love mechanics. (1) The four-cylinder engine is propelled by the crankshaft that draws its power from a fully-functional drive shaft turned by a rubber band engine via a system of gears. (2) There are 3 modes - forward, backward and idle, which can be activated using the gear change lever on the side. (3) If you wish to observe the UGM-11s operational mode, switch on the engine in idle mode to check out the four pistons moving under the folding hood. (4) You can also peek via the cabin door - you will notice the fully functioning steering wheel connected via a steering column to the front wheels suspension. (5) The rubber band engine winds up with a lever mechanism on top of the cabin and a working gas pedal heightens the realistic aspect of this construction kit. (6) The open structure is chosen purposely so the basics of the advanced design can be fully appreciated. Display your handiwork once it is complete - there are several places in your home that can be used as vantage points.
