Synopsis and Features
In Uncharted 3, fortune-hunter Nathan Drake along with his mentor Victor Sullivan tries to find the fabled Atlantis of the Sands. This search takes Nathan through the heart of the Arabian Desert and many other destinations where he has to outclass the shadowy clandestine organization and its ruthless leader. As each secret gets revealed about the city, the treasure hunt soon spirals in a desperate need for survival and forces Nathan to confront his worse and deepest fears.
With Uncharted 3, developer Naughty Dog has come up with a new and immersive gameplay. The team took into notice all the elements missing in the last 2 games and tweaked it for the better. Published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PS3, the Drake’s Deception evolves into more than a game; it becomes a cinematic experience.
The single player campaign of Drake’s Deception starts off with a very interesting twist. The story takes you to spectacular locations across the world from Europe to the Middle East. The new game focuses on more than just action this time around. It focuses on the relationship of Nathan and Elena Fisher. It makes you think whether everything Drake does is just for the treasure or if there something more. The game is wrapped in a series of secrets, struggles and what the game is all about- deceptions.
The multiplayer in the game is interesting just like the earlier ones in the series. The game features a Competitive and co-op multiplayer that’ll surprise you with its massively expanded feature sets. The multiplayer experience of Uncharted 3 feels like an extended version of the single-player. You get different game modes such as team deathmatch, capture the flag and others.
Drake’s Deception adds in many new features to the game. The melee system is upgraded and lets you fight back against enemies even if they are choking your neck. The hand-to-hand combat is improved along with new stealth moves. The gameplay focuses on action by expanding your traversal moves and combining them with deep gunplay. You can now take better cover behind walls and even grab flying grenades and throw them back at your enemies.
There are plenty of challenges to keep you engaged and keep you at the edge of your seat. The graphics have been significantly improved with stunning environments and character details. One of the many highlights of the Uncharted 3 is that it can be played as a 3D game too.
The online multiplayer of Uncharted 3 adds in a Buddy System that is similar to a Co-op mode. This allows you to add a random partner or a friend and play against others online. The game allows you to join games in progress through two different PlayStation Network accounts and play together in split-screen multiplayer on a single console. There are Boosters and Kickbacks that give you an edge over your enemies along with upgradable bonuses, making the multiplayer experience unique to the game.
You can create your own characters through the character creation system, allowing the user to creatively customise their in-game character. Additional customization options include new skins through which you can make your character the exclusive only to you in the whole wide world.
The game developers have planned 7 DLC packs for the Uncharted 3 multiplayer. This will keep you engaged for a long time after you have completed the game. You can download all the game content, trailers and many more things through the PSN network.
