Bio bullet containing Metarhizium anisopliae is an entomo pathogenic fungi & amp; widely used as bio-insecticide for the control of agricultural pests preferably leaf chewing larvae & amp; beetles. The disease caused by the fungus is called green muscardine disease. When these mitotic (asexual) spores (conidia) of the fungus come into contact with the body of an insect host, they germinate & the hyphae that emerge penetrate the cuticle. The fungus then develops inside the body eventually killing the insect after a few days, this lethal effect is very likely aided by the production of insecticidal cyclic peptides. The first signs of pesticidal action are observed in 5-7 days after treatment. The effectiveness of this product depends very much on climatic condition, the method of application & amp; doses.
