The book starts with good introduction to the UDK. The topics covered in this book are well chosen for a complete in-depth focus on the Unreal Engine and the development environment. Author expects the reader to do most of the things which has not been explained clearly. This book incorporates a “Quiz” section which is very predictive, easy and short. The book is as it said, intended for beginners who have no freaking idea about Game Development. The language is dead simple.
It is bit pricey. Hopefully an Indian edition from Packt publishing would be most welcomed. I use this book for teaching Game Dev 101 as introductory for 10 days. Even the most dunder heads gets this language so no complaints there.
