An accomplished mystic, she sees that Rentt has divinity and offers to teach him to better conceal it. He accepts, and in the process, feels the presence of a soul that has been watching over him throughout his career. Once they finally reach Hathara, Rentt is reunited with his family and old friends. The village celebrates his return by throwing a banquet, but Rentt seems conflicted about the exaggerated welcome and disappears in the middle of the festivities. Lorraine leaves to look for him, only to find him in a very unexpected place...
