Horse gram (Macrotyloma uniflorum) is normally used to Animal husbandry feed (Horse, Cow, Buffalo, Goat and Sheep) and Green manure purpose also. Its belong to legume crop, drought tolerate crop, survive low fertility soil, may be irrigate once or twice if there is a severe and prolong drought, use to both green and dry fodder. It’s grow under the temperature ranges of 22-40 Degree Celsius and it grow anywhere in India. It’s suitable for all type of soil, except sand.
