Rugged, tough enough to handle even a Sigma 150-500mm lens!
Used this monopod on a recent safari trip, as I have a Sigma 15-500 lens mounted on a Nikon D3200. I am so glad that I chose the Velbon UP400, 'cos it made photographing so much easier. the simple screw mechanism easily attached to the lens collar in a matter of a couple of seconds and never once threatened to unscrew itself or wobble.
