PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS Sow seeds indoors before the last expected frost of your region. You need not to cover the seeds with soil. Use a window or any other sunny location to germinate the seedling. GROWING REQUIREMENTS MANURE Oregano grown outdoors prefers full sun. SOIL Oregano will grow better in rich and well-drained soil with a pH ranging between 6 to 7. TEMPERATURE For best results, a constant temperature of 15°C (60°F) can be achieved by using bottom heat. WATERING These are drought-tolerant herbs which do not require much watering. You should water them during excessively dry periods only. HOW TO HARVEST Oregano herb plants can be harvested anytime once they get 4 to 6 inches tall. Since these herbs are used for cooking, so harvesting the leaves in buds form will give you the best flavor. The ideal time to harvest Oregano herb plants is in the morning, when the dew has evaporated and the sun is not that high. Once these herbs are cut, it needs to be covered with a mulch layer for over wintering outdoors.
