Prepare some shade for spinach matador plants in case the temperature soars above 30 °C::Spinach seedlings are difficult to transplant and it is best to sow the seeds directly outside.

However, soggy soil may cause the plant to die. Hence proper drainage is essential for the successful growth of spinach matador. Evenly water the soil at root crown level frequently to keep the soil cool.
