VICKS V977 Forehead Thermometer  (White)

This does not work. Everybody's temperature shows up as 96.7 ot 97.3. On top of that even when my son had fever, it showed 97.3. Its sensitivity is very poor. To check, I kept it near my hot laptop and the temperature went to 100.4. Of course the laptop was pretty hot.
It cannot be used to detect fever and so forth. Till date over the last 6 months, I have never obtained the correct body temperature for anyone with this equipment.

We dont use this anymore unfortunately. Cannot rely on it.

Only gives the surface temperature, which is not very helpful when you(or dear ones) have fever.
For exa it shows forehead temp as 98.9 even when you have 100 fever.

This is the second thermometer I purchased online. Both the same brand and model. It's easy to use, the result arrives within seconds and its displayed big and bright. I am considering gifting it to my family and friends too..Perfect product. i love it
