VISCONTI MEDICI Fountain Pen  (Ink Color - Brown)

Visconti and Medici path are very similar as patron of arts. Many ideas and collections from Visconti come from Florence history. It was just a matter of time that Visconti would have dedicated one of its collection to the Medici family. ~The pen is faceted with eight sides like the baptistery of Florence ~The shape is made following the rules of Divine Proportion, codified from Leonardo da Vinci under the hegemony of the Medici family ~The pen body material is unique, another innovation from Visconti, Acrosilk, that is a compound of acrylic resin and silk fibers.The result is a fantastic glossy and luminescent effect with the deepness of colors of the antique celluloid. ~The wooden color used it is a conscious choice and a tribute to the ancient luxury materials used in the princely Medici houses ~All the metal trims are in plated Palladium ~The ring is finally chiseled with the Symbol of Florence: a lily ~The fountain pen features the Visconti 23 Kt, 950 Palladium nib ~The pen is provided with the Visconti patented "Hook safe" lock system, which allows the user to close the pen by rotating it by only 20°, thus making it absolutely impossible to open the cap by chance ~Power filler based ink filling system ~The top of each pen displays a circular metal Visconti logo as standard, held in place with a strong magnetic force. The logo can be removed and be replaced with one of the following elements, Initials, Zodiac Symbols and Natural Stones.
