    Awesome Purchase!!

The Vivitar V3800N SLR is an awesome purchase for this price and is a better purchase over digital cameras. This is a reel camera but it is a professional SLR and good for those planning to learn professional photography. It is a must buy for all...:)

    This is a film camera

Vivitar is a good company and they made good film cameras in 1995. But this camera is not a digital camera. It s a traditional 35mm film based camera. You should think twice before buying such camera and printing is no longer a good option for 10000 photos. You have to look for digital camera

what would be given for 4999 and wat about Mp of this camera

only the lens or the whole package as shown in the video .
why is this camera so cheap than other slr cameras the price difference tells me that the product is not worth to buy, then wat is the need of buying other cameras when you get a slr of just 4999/- only is this really a slr camers?

    Attn Mr. Sheshadri

Mr. Sheshadri, please update your basics before posting here. This is a film camera, question of MP doesnot arise. This is a classic learner's camera, available in largely unchanged form over decades. I'm pleasantly surprised to see this on sale
You are a funny and ignorant man!!!

    Don't Opt

Today's world, you can opt for a digicam instead such cams where in you can see the results immidietly. Don't thing this is a camera for trial and error. You should be knowing functionality of such cameras first as there are no "How to books" or "User manuals" provided with this. Searched it online and downloaded the stuff.

When I opened the packing and assembled the lens found that there was dust on the lense from inside..was a shock.. tells that it was not kept in secure place in their god...
