Water the elixir of life, has comprehended earth from other seven plants of solar system. The planet we call home is the only planet discovered till date that relishes the ambrosia of liquid H 2 O. We have always known that 71% of the earth is occupied by this boon, but only 2.5% is useful for squeezing thirst and supporting life. Thus it is an utmost important duty for the earthlings to preserve this treasure, because loss of this natural asset may reverse the wheel of creation making earth nothing more than a rotating morgue of the deceased. The issue of water crisis or unavailability of drinking water is a chronic situation the planet is suffering of and India is also not an exception to this. Inaccessibility of pollution free fresh water to mitigate the fundamental necessity of a region induces an ambience of critical desperation. A blow from the population pressure, pollutions, deforestation, global warming and climate change is slowly conditioning India to be vulnerable enough for a water related disaser which will definitely influence the society and the polity in an unfavorable manner.
