    How Does a Gas Geyser Work?

The technology behind a gas water heater is that water moves through a gas pipeline or cylinder, which then passes through a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a water pipe covered with fins. The gas burner placed below the heat exchanger is ignited using an electric impulse. The fins are heated up which in turn heats the water, providing you with hot water for your bath. It provides instant heating, and the system switches off immediately after you close the tap. Since these water geysers don’t require electricity connections, they’re a good fit for kitchens and can be used for washing as well as cleaning purposes. Gas geysers are comparatively cheaper to use because of their instant heating capability.


    The heating process starts with your water supply. The water source is connected to the tank by cold water supply lines, which are controlled by a special valve. This lets you cut off the supply of water to the tank if needed for issues or repairs.


    The tank in a gas water heater is usually made of steel. It is capable of handling large amounts of internal pressure without the danger of exploding. The tube that shoots the cold water into the tank is located at the bottom of the tank. There’s an anode present inside the tank which attracts the corrosive particles to itself, preventing corrosion and damage to the tank itself.
