The drive that was delivered turned out to be second-hand/refurbished. While one might consider buying second hand drives for their low price, they need to be clearly marked refurbished, since they are more likely to malfunction than brand new ones. You can choose refurbished drives if you want, but beware the higher risk of the drive malfunctioning, and do not use it for storing highly important data.
