I shall simply say that this item is totally worth the price tag. As is the case with most digital storage media, you get slightly less than the whole advertised 1 TB, but still worth it when considering the convenience that comes with its compact size and the price.

About Flipkart -- The service has never let me down till now.

This review talks about 3 harddisks: WD My Passport, WD Elements, Seagate Expansion. Passport is 2 years old, Expansion is 1 year old and I bought the Elements yesterday.

Ordered the product on 15th July and received on 17th July, so thanks flipkart for their excellent service.

As it is WD Element, so I have compared it with WD My Passport, and found these differences.

1. The dimension of my WD Element is 111 x 82 x 15 mm whereas dimension of WD My Passport is 111 x 82 x 19 mm, So WD Element is quite slicker than WD My Passport.
2. Weight of WD Element is 130 gm whereas weight of WD My Passport is 194 gm, So WD Element is lighter than WD My Passport.

It was so nice to use n when I compared to other brand hardisk this hardisk is superb and 1thing is the cable is so short to connect with tv or system n little bit slippery to hold the hardisk n transfer speed is moderate overall nice performance

Talking about the product, it is obviously a trusted brand on which i can relay blindly, i have been a user of WD since 2012 and i love the beauty and beast combination that is provided by WD. Its so slim and handy that can be put in a jeans pocket yet powerful.

I have been using WD elements for over a month now, here is my personal review:
1)its connected to my laptop almost all the time ,I boot my windows through the WD hdd. Since I use it as a booting device I have not seen any kind of delay in booting process at all.

2)My elements drive is now almost 80% filled and even after that it gives a constant data transfer rate of 20-30mbps.

3)easily recognized by windows and Linux OS ,as soon as plugged.Also hot unplugging is totally fine with this dev...

Writing this review after using it, for more than a month(On Ubuntu). So here is my list of buying and not buying:-
Reasons to buy:-
1. No noise issue
2. No Heat issue
3. Very compact in size
4. cheap 39xx [at least, when i bought]
5. No preinstalled software clutter in the name of security.

Reasons to not buy:-
1. Price bump, At the time of writing this review it costs 45xx.
2. Its not a tough piece of hardware so you have to be careful Or you end up loosing data.
