Excellent service, excellent product
I ordered this item on Sunday night, got it on Tuesday evening, neatly and safely packed. This hard disk is an excellent product considering its price. Its not bulky, does not heat up and gives a decent transfer rate (25-50 mbps). I copied around 600 GB continuously and was amazed to see that it had not heated up at all.
Overall, this product is definitely worth buying. Cheers to Flipkart !!!

Good service from flipkart, but avoid WD at all costs
Died after ~ 1.5 years taking all my data. RMA'ing from WD is taking ages, 3 - weeks and still nothing.
Seagate has much better service and faster speeds even though they might cost slightly more. They are worth the extra cost - trust me, you'll know it when you lose 1TB of data :/

Don't know what to say..!!!!
I got it from flip kart 3 years back, the delivery and packaging was good as always.
I have been using this for 3 years, actually it got crashed after 2 years so I got it replaced but lost all the data of around 900 GB. Now the new one which I have got also gives a problem, gets disconnected very often. performance wise it is good transfer of files was fast, also the design is good, easy to handle.

I bought it this item 6 month ago and it is working very well.The price at that time is 3950/- which the lowest price i have found at that time

Has been using it for straight 7Hrs now, without the HDD itself getting heated too much, unlike others i have used! Gives about average speed of 27Mb/s, with max being 30Mb/s.
I know its too early to write a performance review as i got it only today! Will make sure to write a review on how well this stuff really is in another 3weeks!

Do not buy
Useless drive. Crashed within a Month . WD replacement cell is worthless and haven't responded properly since 5 months. Refund is supposedly on its way, which is not confirmed yet and the issue according to them has been escalated. Please DO NOT BUY ! WD is cheating customers.

Sorry very slow transfer speed
just one month before i was using seagate 1 tb of my friend and it just amazingly copied nearly 50 gb within 5 minutes.,but very sad to say that today i got this wd and it is taking nearly 1 hour to copy the same thing.its a mistake i think.i do not know now what to do.totally disappointed.its showing upto 480mb/sec.but actually its just 20 to 30 mb/sec.go for seagate.
