    Delightful

    Bought this for rs.5500 (2TB version) and I think it is the best one you can find in this price range. Gives 1.81TB of usable space. Gives max 120MBps speed (depends on files you are transferring) which is quite good for a hard drive. WD Discovery software gives options to encrypt and troubleshoot device. Well, it is one of the best because it has few cons.

    Value-for-money, does as advertised

    Decent Product, 4800rpm
    Pros
    1. WD is a reliable Brand (more so than Seagate)
    2. Does as advertises
    3. Is password Protected
    4. got it 1700rs cheaper than Seagate
    5. Has got good software
    6. Great value for money
    Cons
    1. Its 4800rpm not 5400rpm. (Its not mentioned anywhere so normal assumption is a minimum 5400rpm but no its 4800) even my 10 year old dell hdd is 5400rpm
    2. 4800rmp makes it slower than Seagate. (when wd's 90mbps the Seagate is at 115 and wd's 103 = Seagate's 127mbps and so on...

    Everybody knows WD is much much better than Seagate. Too much stable and consistent high speed. Do plug the USB in USB 3.0 blue port for the genuine speed.

    Beautiful slim design and sky colour is just love. I'm getting about 105mbps speed by transferring large folders from my pc to HDD. Better than Seagate in terms of light weight and design. Loved it.
