Got it during Christmas-New Year Deal for 4k. Very good deal for me.

Pros:
1. Very small size and good looks.
2. Speed is good. I did not really compare or measure the speed as such. But, when I try to copy files around 10 GB, it copies fast in few mins.
3. As usual, Flipkart's packaging is BEST.

WD 1TB external hard disk is pretty good. It stores enough data. Good performance also. Nice to have one TB external hardisk for back up of the data.

An awesome product. After doing a little research I bought this hard disk. It has been more than a month and I am fully satisfied with the product. I can vouch for all the good technical reviews given for this product. With all the discounts, I could get this product for 3.6k on flipkart and looking at the price now, I feel it was a great deal! :)

The product is great and as described. The following is not about the product but regarding the delivery. The courier companies Flipkart is using does not do door delivery. The last 3 times I had to go and pick up the product from the delivery guy in the middle of my work. Even after reporting this to Flipkart there is no change. I was pretty confused btw seagate and wd bt finally i decided to buy wd coz it compact design. And performance wise its unbeatable. It Has a very good Transfer rate on both usb 2.0 and 3.0. And the shipping was on usb 3.0 speed with a very good packing. Thank u FLIPKART

am using this drive from a couple of month...i got this in a combo offer with my lenovo laptop..
all the things are good with this drive as its write speed is 20 to 25 mbps on 3.0 and the utility apps that comes with this drive are good but once you partitioned this drive those apps are no longer usable....

WD is one of the leading hdd manufacture in the world. But in India it is yet to make a mark because of following reasons:
1) Cheap build quality. I dropped my hdd from hardly one foot and its header got displaced. And the hdd became unrecognizable.
2) Lousy customer care service. Only few technical service center. There was no provision for data recovery and after calling several times they agreed to replace it. I guess they have no able technicians!

This is compact and excellent disk. The speed of data exchange is good. WD is in my view best right now as Hard drive is concerned.

Happened to set my search for hard drive...found this amazing device in flipkart...must admit it is the cheapest ever possible to find anywhere including in the local markets

About the device, it is superb however comes with 936 MB of storage space against 1TB as shown. But,never mind guys, we all know thats how it is !!!!! easy to connect and easy to use...after all it is WD !! the length of connection cord is good enough for my laptop...so no complaints there
