I have been using WD passport HDD for almost a month and the experience has been quite good. I would recommend this to all who are looking for good quality HDD within budget.
pros are:
1) compact and small so easy to carry
2) not much heating or vibration (anyway small amt will be there always)
cons:
1) less than expected data transfer speed
2) very short usb cable

Good Product. In 1 TB segment this was giving the best per GB cost. I was more inclined towards seagate, but when i did some website research found WD better than seagate.

I have purchased this product 2 times.. one is the same as above and another one is just grey in color. On for myself and another for my friend. Both products are running very good till date. Though the speed is not as much as it mentioned in the description (checked with USB 2.0 & 3.0 as well) but not bad too. So, worth purchasing the item. Highly suggested for new users. Flipkart service is awesome as usual.

The hard disk is very nice and decent looking.
Data speed is awesome. At my ASUS USB 3.0 400GB Data transferred in around less than 120 minutes which is almost 55MBps i.e. pretty good.

Only flipside I found was that I had to update the firmware from WD website first before working with USB3.0. I installed it first at USB 2.0 and then upgraded the firmware. Only then it started working with USB 3.0.

Second thing to keep in mind is that your old USB 2.0 cable will also work with...

The WD passport is one of the very reliable products. It has 3.0 support as well. I purchased it for Rs. 3999 and its been the best product with optimum volume of 930GB usage.

WD unlocker software inbuilt, which helps us to lock n feel secure about the data.

I'm using it for the past one week. The Speed is very good. I've used it in USB 2.0 only. Average Speed is 25 MB/s. I've tested it in USB 3.0 I have get 60 MB/s I hope It'll give better speed in USB 3.0

Till now it is not getting heated after hours of usage. The size is very small. It can fit into your pant pocket.Easy to use. Definitely i'll recommend this product to everyone.

Very good product and as expected WD is the best. Works well with my TV as well...But if you put security password it wont open in TV..data transfer rate is above 5mbps which is ok.Totally values for money. Good hdd for the best price. the speed is good in both the interface 2.0 and 3.0 so it good for every interface. its slient and very less vibration. WD is very known company in hdd so i prefer the option.
