This is an awesome product more than I imagined. Stable transfer speed of 50mbps and more for any amount of data. This was the speed when I transferred 250gb at one shot. Good software's inbuilt. Guys don't have a 2nd choice when it comes to WDD.

Very nice travel companion to carry a load of your favourite/ important data anywhere you go. Very compact, light weight, high speed data transfer with USB 3.0.
Luckily i got this just for 2K on a combo with my Lenovo G505s Laptop.

After my previous WD I decided to hold off on buying another one but guess what? They own the market. So I took the risk again and so far so good. This is really fast. It's portable. If you are using Mac OS Mavericks, make sure you format it correctly to work on both windows and MAC OS. Just in case.

Secondly, try to never disconnect it on Mavericks OS because it takes forever to reconnect. So make sure it is NEVER PHYSICALLY UNPLUGGED accidentally.

It is cheaper from the rate in market. But after purchasing it, when i saw its price after 2 days on flipkart it was reduced by Rs.400. I didn't like it. As how the price can reduce in 2 days. Otherwise its cheaper from market and even the service is good.

Very good product. Reached in time. No defects. Happy with the product. The product looks really compact in size. Transfers data with 15Mb/s approx. (tested in my laptop in USB 2.0), but it may vary in other systems

The WD My Passport 1 TB offers a massive 931 GB of storage at a decent speed of 25 - 30 MBps in USB 2.0 and 90 - 105 MBps in USB 3.0. The dirve is a decent performer for a USB powered external HDD. Moreover, the drive performs quite well copying small files using tools such as Teracopy.
