I specifically use this as a backup drive for my work and USB 3.0 connectivity makes the synchronization between this and my main e-sata drive blazing fast. The hard disk is very nice and decent looking.
Data speed is awesome. At my ASUS USB 3.0 400GB Data transferred in around less than 120 minutes which is almost 55MBps i.e. pretty good.

Only flipside I found was that I had to update the firmware from WD website first before working with USB3.0. I installed it first at USB 2.0 and then upgraded the firmware. Only then it started working with USB 3.0.

This product is really awesome. So small and compatible, makes you wonder, it can hold worth 1 TB of data. Transferring speed is very good. Doesn't generate much heat while transferring data, neither does it make any sound.
