It's a nice product for storage of personal photos, videos with very good security. security works on any OS. tested on Ubuntu, Windows. not tested on Mac.

It's been 7months from my purchase, Speed rate is good and no problem faced yet.. A good product to buy. it's very lite in weight and compact.. Easy to carry.. can fit in pocket. the only drawback is the cable length is too short. easy for connecting laptops but while connecting to PCs need an exttension cable for sure

I purchased this WD HDD on the 1st week of November, 2012. It is still performing great. WD products are always awesome and flipkart too. The product which I received initially did NOT pass the SMART status and hence I requested for a replacement. Flipkart provided a better one. I am getting very good transfer speeds in my laptop with USB 3.0.

Advantages: Very compact, value for money, good transfer speeds.
Disadvantages: Not rugged, handle with care, preserve the USB cable.

I have read reviews till date and seen people given pros and cons. There are certain things like storage which I think can be thought over with a much different view.

Go for this one cos it cheap, performance is good- you might have others but what will you exactly do with a super performance. Its not a very valid criteria to spend extra 2000 bucks. I have purchased 2 from Flipkart in last 11 months and they are worth every penny.

Pros:

2. Compact, small & Light weight, easy to carry

Cannot be used as USB drive to watch movies/songs (when connected to my Plasma TV)!

As usal Flipkart done very good job, I got this product with in 30 hours.. This Hard Disk is very good.. All of my friends suggested to go for seagate, but I have read lot of reviews in all the sites, found that its more better than seagate product. This data transfer speed also good .. seagate is having half of this data transfer speed. Really happy to having this product, thanks flipkart to get the good product.

Pros: Easy to connect, speed is good, Does not make any noise, Looks sturdy, finishing is very nice.
Cons:no casing provided like transcend, cable is only 8 inches long sometimes feel it could b a bit longer, it is so high portable, I nearly forgot where I kept it and have now misplaced it. :)
