The WD Apps which come with the Hard Disk are very good too.

The one app I use the most is WD Security. It allows you to password protect your drive, to prevent unauthorized people from using it.

One Thing - DO NOT FORGET THE PASSWORD.

There is no way to recover the password - none to my knowledge however. As far as my research went there is no way to recover the password. If there is, please let me know just in case I forget. :P
