Read Speed is not good as it is mentioned its about 25MBPS but write speed is approx 60-70 MBPS in 3.0 port.
in 2.0 port read speed is 15 and write is 25-30 MBPS. so we can say it is just good not excellent. These speeds belong to Intel i5 5 generation. So I hope you can make a better choice.

Handy & excellent product for Laptops and Desktop. WD Service also good, but drive is not plug & play to view media contents with LCD and also non compatible with mobile sets as OTG.

WD 4 TB external hdd is a very handy and good product & it is coming with a good price in Flipkart. I have enjoyed after buying it... its a nice experience when I use this product. Highly recommended.

Just had the drive delivered to me yesterday, works right out of the box.

1) Firstly, before using it, i reformatted the harddrive for my mac, although it was not required since it comes pre-formatted for Windows as well as Mac, however, I prefer to erase it completely so that none of the WD utilities etc. remain on the drive. I have been using many WD drives for years, and they all use same utility software, so don't worry about formatting your drive.
2) The Speed test for this drive is A...
