speed and consistency
I got around 160 mbps speed for file transfer and I am happy with and that looks are also good a Rugged feel.
the cable is usb 3.0 and is it looks good I hope it lasts.

cons👎
build quality -- even though it looks good the plastic feels cheaper in hand and I can hear some shaking inside.
the glossy part of the drive is easily scratchable and is already pretty much scratched up.(carrying case is highly recommended)
the back side is wabbling 👎

Delivered fast and nicely packed.

the Drive outer shell is made out of plastic and is of good quality,still it could have been a little more sturdy. but the drive itself is as good as they come. the read write speed is superb and the drive does not heat up in long usage which is a +. please register the drive on WD website the day it comes that will help in warranty. the software that come with it are outdated so download new ones from the site.
software from the site also include testing so...

I have not used it much but this is all I can say at this point of time:
1. Sturdy and good build. Looks classic too.
2. Transfer speed always around 23MB/s with usb 2.0 and around 200MB/s with usb 3.0 which is really good at this price segment.

A genuine brand from long time read & writing speed were amazing in good processor devices and has a shiny finish which makes it a overall a decent product

The product was delivered a day after the order placement(Superfast Delivery).I was thinking about Seagate but as I came to know that it doesn't support the password protection I skipped my choice to WD.They said about the password protection, but after so many attempts software is not getting downloaded. Otherwise it's a good product with durability.
