This is an excellent hard drive with 2TB capacity. If you are looking for an option in portable HDD this is the one you wanna go for. There are others hard drive too with 2TB capacity but they need external power.

It's excellent performance wise and WD had really worked it's way to maintain the size of the drive. it's quiet small and can be carried anywhere.

I'm very pleasantly surprised by the size of this hard-disk. I had a 1 TB USB Passport of Seagate before this and I thought that was small. This 2TB Drive from WD is almost half the Seagate Drive. Really convenient.

Just bought it yesterday and was amazed at the size. virtual space i got was 1.81Tb which is arguably good after a NTFS format. the transfer speeds are great got about 80 Mb/s

Amazing Product! It's rare to see a 2TB External HDD without a Power Adapter but WD made it possible. I don't have many complaints about data transfer speed as it completely depends upon compatibility and pc's health. I have a Latest Ultrabook on which the data transfer of a movie .mkv file of size 4GB transfered in less than a minute. I recommend this to backup freaks!
