Terrific purchase
I have been using it for almost 3 years now. One of the best storage devices out there.
It has various extra features which other compete like Seagate etc. Don't provide. Like password protection: it's very useful. No one can access your data without the password. WD cloud is also cool.
If you are into customisation, with the WD Utilities app, you can customise the small white led on it as well.
Coming to functionality, I'd give it a 9/10. From drive to my pc, using usb 3.0, the speed reach...

I was considering to go with Seagate or transcend but I dropped that because I have seen the problems that my friends have faced with these brands eventually.
I bought this at a 50%off, works great and have been using this for a long time now.
I havent had any issues with the wire or connection issues of any sort of.
For the rest of the part almost all the HDDs of this range are the same.
I recommend this.

Must buy!
lucky that i got good one, speed at USB2.0-30MB/s and USB3.0-80MB/s for games and USB3.0-100MB/s for movies,i need to store a lot of games and i want to play all the games when i get GTX1080 ti laptop,thankyou flipkart for 1day delivery ,i am in confusion b/w segate and wd but i choose wd because of less failure rate than segate

Many out there but kept this for reliability.
There are many expert out there.
I bought only because I wanted smooth recovery even if the drive corrupts.
Device looks small hence nice, cable for attachment is just 30 to 40 cm.
Pre installed software help getting started smoothly.
I love 'wd discovery' app it's very helpful.

It's smaller than u thought after seeing the image on Flipkart. And it's a beauty. Purchase any colourful version rather than black. Material used to build body is plastic but it won't feel cheap.
Pros. - good design
Compact size
Password protected
Data cable and power cable combo is of very good material.
Light weight ( not comparing with Seagate )
Cons - body should be made of metal
Not sleek as Seagate

Good quality product
It's pretty good looking and compact in size. Data transfer speed is between 15-25 Mbps for usb 2.0 but no direct connectivity to your mobile

it's a good product from WD, little old I think but gets the job done. If you are planning to use this with a mobile(with OTG support) bare in mind that his sucks a lot of power since it has mechanical drive instead of flash storage.

Exceptional built quality. It's the best product to go for in 2TB category. I have used WD products before and i can say the durability of their products is great especially HDD, I had another 1TB HDD which i have been using since 3 years without any issue. I wish for the same for this product.
