What a Winner this Loser!

I was fascinated to find this new title, What A Loser! by the debutante Author Pankaj Dubey. Thought to flip a couple of pages while travelling in a very casual manner but the moment I started reading this novel, there was a different experience all together. I could relate so well to this satirical tale said in such a humourous manner. He has delved deep into the mindset of the Hindi heartland in his Cowbelt Comedy. Loved the style of storytelling. Hope to read many more from the keyboard of...

college days nostalgia...a sweet sweet love story and bro-hood...complete paisa vasool

Starting with the USP of the book- that it has been simultaneously been published in Hindi and English...now more on this USP later...as i both the heart this decision as well as have a bit of a complaint...

So moving along...do you remember your crush that actually transformed into a relationship? Or sort of a relationship....well the latter must have been more painful but totally anecdote worthy, right? then you need to read this book :)
Do you remember being ragged? or heard about the sor...

DO READ TO CELEBRATE THE LOSER AND THE HERO WITHIN!

Once I opened What a Loser! I just could not put it down despite being exhausted and sleep deprived. It is an easy to read, humorous story that connects a chord with anyone who has studied in Delhi University or for that matter any other university in India. The characters in the book are very realistic and this adds to the charm of the book. It takes you through the journey of life where everyone succeeds, fails and succeeds again through the main character's life in DU. I cannot recommend t...

A Laughathon!

'What A Loser!' is the most fun, breezy and easy read I've had in quite a while. Being from DU's North Campus I could easily identify with PAKS and the other wacky characters and their dilemmas. Pankaj's casual style of writing and the contextual metaphors are priceless! PAKS' obsession with milky white girls and his desperate attempts to become 'cool' provide for an entertaining ride... so just 'Add To Cart'!

DU Cowboys

Breezy easy read. The summary and the title didn't mislead, one got what one paid for. Anyone who has been to DU as a 'migrant' can take a trip down memory lane with this one... and those who have never been there may take a fresh trip. The first time author does a brilliant job when it comes to plot and characters. Just one star missing for liberties taken with the language but I guess in Indian English - "anything goes".

What a read!!

After all the books out today which hover around ancient Indian mythological stories.. here is a read which is light hearted, fun and different(not a typical indian bolly story it is though).. the story revolves around a small town dude and what he goes through.. what he gains and what he loses.. and the unpredictability of fate in general with humor added..
Enjoy the read and laugh thru!!!

Not a loser after all !

One author I believe will give sleepless nights and a run for his money to Chetan Bhagat!

What a beautifully penned book. Has all the required masala in just the right amount. The book has so many incidents that an Indian can easily relate to whether from the Cowbelt region or not.

Mr. Dubey you have amazing story telling skills and this would make a Blockbuster film, hope you decide to do that in the future!

All the best and thanks for the lovely read !
