Awesome good read

Unlike many other life stories I have read recently, this one has awesome variety - not just about how he made his money! There's lots about horses and polo and air crashes and trips to Switzerland. I think its an important thing that there's lots to learn for start-ups -- keep your eye on the ball, don't let delays get you down. The whole book is so well written that new writers can also pick up a few tricks on how to pace a story.

The autobiography is an eye opener and tells us what Gurgaon could have been without some of the all powerful politicians. It also tells us how personal dealings matter in the real world.

Incredible story about KP and DLF but the book has its flaws

It's a book that was a little disappointing because it did not give too many insights into how KP Singh worked, thought etc. There were some insights like how 'he always did things that others thought were going to be unsuccessful'.

One other interesting point was how he lobbied hard against archaic rules and regulations instead of bribing officials. I would have loved to hear him talk about his flaws and weaknesses too but largely the book only covers his positive sides.

Its a good read, ...
