The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), previously known as All India Pre-medical Test (AIPMT) is the common entrance test for admission into Medical and Dental courses across India. The Medical Council of India (MCI) recommended the syllabus for NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY ENTRANCE TEST for admission to MBBS/BDS courses across the country after review of various State syllabi as well as those prepared by CBSE, NCERT and COBSE. This is to establish uniformity across the country keeping in view the relevance of different areas in Medical Education. The aim of this examination is to evaluate the conceptual strength of the students and their ability to solve application based problems.
