  • Description

How To Win Friends And Influence People In The Digital Age by Dale Carnegie and Bret Cole provides easy and logical methods of expressing and reaching out to millions of social network users all over the world.

    Summary Of The Book

The book, How To Win Friends And Influence People In The Digital Age by Dale Carnegie and Brent Cole, provides strategies and tactics through which one can communicate to a large audience online.

With the changing communication networks, the book emphasizes the need to shift from the older mode to the newer and technologically innovative mode. Both authors stress on the challenges and obstacles one can face with the advent of social networking sites, online forums and email communication.

This book states that since face-to-face interactions have been eradicated to a great extent, it becomes necessary to adopt the tenets that Carnegie and Cole mention in their work.

How To Win Friends and Influence People In The Digital Age is an updated and modified version of Carnegie’s original work, How To Win Friends and Influence People. Carnegie, interestingly, had predicted the digital communications phenomenon in his original work. Brent Cole, having worked for Dale Carnegie & Associates, Inc. has reworked some of the essential tenets to suit the current needs of the digital age.

The main aim of this book is to encourage and provide valuable advice in order to successfully navigate through the digital communication network. Carnegie’s recommended tools are relevant for any time period.

This book has been received well and is considered a good guide on how to communicate and reach the required audience.
