Its not really necessary. Seirawan makes the tactics more interesting than helpful. But still, for the sake of completeness, I would say intermediate players read this as there might be something they missed. Advanced combinations and professional combinations at the end of the book are excellent.. but there is just a page each of them..

Best book for beginners and intermediate players but you should learn board number before reading this like(d4) etc...

very good book and from my personal experience stop searching for best opening book and go for tactics book or practice this one is good for under 1800

The best book in the series, a lot simpler to follow than his opening book.
