The Kingkiller Chronicles continues with The Wise Man’s Fear, the second novel in Patrick Rothfuss’ hit fantasy fiction series.

    Summary of the Book

The second day dawns as Kvothe Kingkiller continues his story for the Chronicler. The Chronicler begins to suspect Kvothe’s consistency with the story, for he seems to be exaggerating about his achievements. However, he is still interested in learning the story of the man who made love to the enchantress Felurian and survived. Kvothe continues the story where he left off, revealing how he leaves the University to seek his fortune abroad. However, on his journey to fame and fortune, Kvothe will need to face terrifying odds. One of these odds includes a fae, the legendary Felurian whose beauty and seductive grace have left men in a vegetative state after they’ve been with her. How does Kvothe manage to survive her embrace when no man has managed to do so before him? And in doing so, how did he learn the seven words that will make any woman fall in love with him?

    Highly recommended

    Absolutely fantastic.👌
"My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me."
If you haven't read this than you should or else you'll be missing a new gem in the fantasy world. The characters are nice, the plot is amazing, and the best part is the writing of Patrick Rothfuss. Read the first page and you'll be hooked to the book till the end.
The quality of the book is nice and the delivery was at time. Great work flipkart👍

    Delightful

currently this review is only about the quality of book and package:
cover: the cover of book is beautiful and and the book title is raised but it's a bit thin compared to other paperbacks (4.5/5).
paper quality: pages of book are....u know......thin(even by the standards of paperback) and is of okayish quality(3.5/5).
binding:you will have to handle the book with a little care because it's quite thick, but don't worry about the binding- its good, and the book opens fully, without any difficult...

    AWESOME BOOK

Patrick Rothfuss is one of the greatest writers of our times; also one of the all-time greatest in the fantasy genre. He made a spectacular debut with 'The Name of the Wind', now 'Wise Man's Fear' continues the saga of Kvothe. One of the truly unputdownable books, TWMF explains a lot of the legend of Kvothe but also leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Eagerly awaiting the 3rd book where I'm sure events will come to a head and, Kvothe's past and present will collide to great enjoyment for th...

    Its simply awesome

i read this book for a few hours at my friends house , at first i was like " i dont think i am understand this " my friend ordered me to read more , i was naturally hesitant. Soon the story suddenly got superbly interesting , obviously a flashback story ( and after what kote tells about kvothe to a lad ) is always stricking and involving . soon i ended up reading about 250 pages for 4 hours. ITS JUST DAMN AWESOME . the book is very big though even for a really quick read it would take a good...

    Nice enough

I absolutely loved The Name of the Wind, and I was extremely excited about this sequel. I also happen to love big, fat books that last longer. So it was suprising that I wasn't immediately inclined to go around telling everyone 'OH MY GOD I love this book!'

Sure, it had its moments...and a lot of it was pretty great. But I didn't think it lived up to the first book - it wasn't as well-written and structured, and it felt to me like they'd missed a deadline and so left out one last final good ...

    Worthy Sequel

It took a while for me to read this one. It is a monster of a novel and one of the longest i have read. Rothfuss, back in his vein, does not disappoint.
The plot picks up where it left off. Kvothe continues to tell his story to the Chronicler. This time he travels far and beyond, meeting new races and encountering Felurian (Now we know why he says that he left with both his life and sanity).

The book basically deals with the workings of Kvothe's mind. There is not much of a plot evident her...

    how I find the story

those who claim of drag in the middle of a story should leave off reading. what I find is that both day 1 and day 2 have equal thrill and engrossing nature. Kvothe is relating to his life events. so the course cannot always be dramatic. but the experiences never fail to catch the young adult imagination.

This massive book about the story of Kvothe gives fantasy readers the ultimate journey. The first book was okay but this one steals the show. Must read.

    Good choice

I was really excited about the second part. This covers much more plot than the first one ,only in this book did I get a feel that the story was moving somewhere.

Now the book quality is average. But a lot of words are squashed into a small paper ( paper quality is not that great). The print size is a bit small and difficult to read ,but for this price this is the best deal
