Really hats off to Mr. V.S. Khandekar. You must read this book once.. twice..thrice... I learn many things from characters of this book like Katch, Sharmishta, Puru, Yayati. Mr. Khandekar took 10-12 yrs to complete this book so you can image the depth of this book. This book won many awards. Finally i think think that this is the one of the top ten marathi book. So go n buy a copy for youself. I will try to write a post on this book Amol

Being a winner of Jnanpith award and Sahitya Akademi award, there no need for me to tell you whether the book is good or not. It is indeed good. No doubt about it.

The book is exceptional in the way it treats each character of the story. And writes it from their perspectives. The author has been extremely creative in taking a simple story in Mahabharata to such unimaginable levels of greatness.

A great read. Don't miss enjoying it !

i read this book in 3-4 days...... i could not wait till i finish... its a story so amazingly written....Hat's off to V S Khandekar..... Another book called "Kronchwadh" also a classic by same author. I would recommend everybody should read this book
