Sudha Sikarwar was born in U.P. After graduating in Arts, she stepped into the world far away from her paternal home. She was a keen observer since childhood. Her father was a good writer, reader and speaker too. She used to just copy him. She was very fond of reading magazines like Chandamama, Champak, Lambu Patlu, and Chacha Chaudhary, which is still continuing today.
After leaving her parental home she found an unknown world full of challenges, difficulties and disparities among each other. She was forced to face several unexpected and terrible situations in life. CHHAND SANWLA HAI (Collection of Seventeen Stories), in a way she had written in her youth. Rather being influenced by any writer she was inspired by the events happening around her. On all the struggling days that went by, she used to run 8 kilometers to her office. While covering the distance of 8 kilometers to her office, she would stand on a flyover for a few moments to relieve her fatigue and see the slum. And while comparing the fast-paced life on the flyover with the stagnant life of the slum which she had never seen in her village; this is where VIHANGINIi( Collection of poetry) emerged. She wanders in imagination but writes reality.
