About Francoise Barbira Freedman
Francoise Barbira Freedman is an anthropologist at the University of Cambridge. She was the first European to live with the Quechua Lamas people in Amazonian Peru. She is the founder of Ampika, whose painkiller created using a medicinal plant has been effective in clinical trials. Some of the titles authored by her are: Water Babies, Aqua Yoga, How to Teach Your Baby to Swim, Baby Yoga, and Yoga for Mother and Baby.
