    Description

The Muscle Power series, with its unique frame construction, integrates the frame and the string like no other. The series is designed for players who go after fast movement and effortless power.

The racquets in this series boast of a Muscle Power Frame that provides high repulsion power and sharp shots.

    Shock Less Grommet System

The design of the strings in the new grommet pattern reduces the stress from the strings when it comes in contact with the shuttlecock and it also ensures minimal shock effect thereby improving your performance.

    Medium Stiff

Designed exceptionally to enhance your playing skills, the Muscle Power 29 Light G4 Strung Badminton Racquet comes with a medium stiff that enables you to play accurate shots with more control.

    High Modulus Graphite Shaft

Make those quick swings with ease as the high modulus graphite shaft adds more stability to your shots.

    Ti-mesh Frame

Yonex has made the racquet with a titanium mesh that offers high repulsion and reduces air resistance to enhance your game.

    Isometric Head Shape

The isometric head shape widens the sweet spot area and makes even your off-centre shots impactful.

    Simply awesome

Iam a intermediate player i play in our ground we made a proper court. Definitely best badminton racket for beginners and intermediate players. Trust me this racket shows its awesome performance after some playing time (1month or maybe 2 month). Its flex increases and smash power is also great. Don't do lot of research its the best thing at 2k range

Ultimate Racquet for an intermediate !!!!!

Believe me...this racquet is a rockstar on the court.... Its the best racquet if you are an intermediate player and play indoor....The shots a re powerful, grip is strong..and its longer than ordinary racquets...considerably long..so you don't miss your strikes..but i suggest that you buy this racquet from a sports shop...especially a wholesaler...you can get it there for 1900/-..

    Not smooth sailing

I bought this racket in March this year, and I have not had smooth sailing contrary to the good experience people normally have.

Firstly, I had few hiccups with the delivery of the product. I had given my office address for delivery, so on Friday I called up customer care and enquired for the estimated delivery date. They told that the product will reach the same day itself. Even after multiple calls to customer care, the product didn't reach on Friday. So after being delayed in office and t...

    Yonex muscle power 29

I play badminton almost every day. This racquet is good for regular use.
    Pros -
    1) Lightweight.
    2) Isometric head.
    3) Feels strong.
    Cons -
    1) The string could have been better.

I will suggest to replace the string and use the racquet if you are a serious player. Overall a good purchase with the usual Flipkart efficiency.

a must go for this racquet

This racket is a delight to handle. It's head heavy construction makes it great for offensive style of play and it's lightening fast. The smashes pack a great deal of punch (really good I must say) and maneuverability for defense is brilliant (picking up fast smashes is just a flick of the wrist away).

This racket is very light weight and for people considering to buy this who haven't had the opportunity to test it just yet, don't get confused by 'head heavy' and other terms when you read t...

    Questions and Answers
Q:What are the key badminton racquet specification to look for?
A:The weight is denoted by "U"; the smaller the number, the heavier the weight. For example, 3U (85-89g) is heavier than 4U (80-84g). The grip size is denoted by "G"; the smaller the number, the larger the handle size. Yonex rackets come in G4 as standard, whereas Victor rackets come in G5 as standard. The racket tension is denoted by "x lb to y lb"; the minimum to the maximum stringing tension recommended. Generally we recommend that beginners play with a tension closer to the lower-end, as this will provide additional power for them.If you are a singles player, then we would recommend choosing the 3U option as this will provide more overall mass (without affecting the balance), ensuring that the racket offers more stability at the cost of a little speed. The majority of singles players now use 3U rackets as standard. If you are a doubles player, then we would recommend choosing the 4U option as this will provide more speed to your game, allowing you to react much quicker at the net and against opposing smashes. The majority of doubles players now use 4U rackets as standard. Something to get you started:

Q:Which racket is better? Mp29 or carbonex 8000plus?
A:For sure between those two Mp29 is better if you are are a basic+ player level. If as an amateur then both doesn't make any difference.

Q:What role is played by shaft flexibilty?
A:Shaft flexibility is just as crucial as balance when purchasing a badminton racquet, and the correct level for you is dependent on your wrist/arm speed. Manufacturers have generally agreed upon on categorising rackets as 'Flexible', 'Medium' and 'Stiff', though there are variations on this such as 'Medium-Stiff' and 'Extra Stiff'. Put simply, the quicker and more explosive your wrist/arm speed (often known as swing speed), the more likely you are to benefit from a stiffer shaft. The slower and smoother your wrist/arm speed, the more likely you are to benefit from a more flexible shaft. Beginners are far more likely to benefit from purchasing a racket with a flexible shaft, whereas more advanced players tend to favour stiffer shafts as advanced players have much better technique. If you are unsure about how much flex you need, then you should purchase a medium or medium-stiff flex badminton racket.Stiff A stiffer shaft will bend and then unbend very quickly, ensuring the explosive swing-speed player has the maximum power and control possible. By comparison, a slower swing-speed player would not be able to use the advantage of a stiff shaft as the shaft would not bend or unbend enough, resulting in a loss of power. Flexible A more flexible shaft will bend and unbend much more easily, ensuring that players will get the racket to bend and unbend to the required level. By comparison, a more explosive, fast swing-speed player using a more flexible frame would connect with the shuttle prematurely, before the shaft unbends and is still bent backwards, resulting in a loss of control and power.

Q:What is the first step to choose a badminton racquet?
A:Choose between an oval or square-shaped racket head. An oval racket tends to have more concentrated power while a square racket head has more surface area. Your choice in racket shape will greatly affect your game.

Q:How to decide upon tension of the string?
A:Check whether the tension of the string is tight or not. If you are a beginner, then 16-20 lbs will do. However, if you want to play professionally, then then the string tension should be 19-24/29lbs.
