a very good one for this price

i puchased it from outside though (wasnt on flipkart back then)...it a master class racquet. its light in weight...and comes handy while playing. strong gutting and a bit more length add to its charm.....and smash is almost un-defendable by this one.
the sweet stroke sound will itself make u feel better even before u learn to hit smash from this racquet. i am playing with it since past 6mnths and no problems so far. yonex keeps to its name as always:)

    Excellent Racket

I was using armortec prior to this and lost it as it fell from my kit bag while travelling, totally loved that one.
This racket is a very nice and balanced racket.
Its extremely light ( was able to pick returns regularly which earlier i would miss), so if you have quick reflexes, you will love this to pick fast returns.
Female Players or those players who like to use light rackets will like this piece a lot.

The smashes go pretty well with this one, however you have to get used to it while p...

    Smash Power

Though this is an entry level full graphite muscle power...it is a great racquet for its money

Smashes as well as clears have got power ..though this added power reduces the control and net shots are difficult to be made perfect
Backline to backline tosses are easy...infact the added power may give you few "deep outs"
    Bat speed is average
Suited for beginners and intermediate level of players

    A wonderful piece of work

Have been using yonex from past 5-7 years, using carbonex series. Found this racquet at a local dealer, very less air resistance, isometric shape helps you to go for that extra power required for those brutal kills. "Shuttles wont like this racquet". Not too expensive either. Offers good control. I use an extra PU yonex grip. Gives me a better feel.
If u have a budget of around 2K, then you can go for this .
    Highly recommended. Happy Playing !!!!!

Like it very much on very first day

I ordered the racket on saturday and was expecting it to be delivered on Monday... But I received it the next day. I was curious to see how the racket works for me and maaan I love it from the first swing. I was using carbonex 6000 plus earlier and was not able to play some shots properly. I played with this racket for two days and I already feel like a different player. I could play smash easily and powerfully, and play the clears without much effort. The delicate net shots need some practic...

    Questions and Answers
Q:What are the key badminton racquet specification to look for?
A:The weight is denoted by "U"; the smaller the number, the heavier the weight. For example, 3U (85-89g) is heavier than 4U (80-84g). The grip size is denoted by "G"; the smaller the number, the larger the handle size. Yonex rackets come in G4 as standard, whereas Victor rackets come in G5 as standard. The racket tension is denoted by "x lb to y lb"; the minimum to the maximum stringing tension recommended. Generally we recommend that beginners play with a tension closer to the lower-end, as this will provide additional power for them.If you are a singles player, then we would recommend choosing the 3U option as this will provide more overall mass (without affecting the balance), ensuring that the racket offers more stability at the cost of a little speed. The majority of singles players now use 3U rackets as standard. If you are a doubles player, then we would recommend choosing the 4U option as this will provide more speed to your game, allowing you to react much quicker at the net and against opposing smashes. The majority of doubles players now use 4U rackets as standard. Something to get you started:

    Q:Should I buy, aluminium,steel or carbon fiber(graphite) racquet?
A:Buy a racket that is made out of lightweight aluminum or steel. If you are thinking of playing professionally, purchase a carbon-fiber racket that is extremely light and aerodynamic.

Q:How to decide upon tension of the string?
A:Check whether the tension of the string is tight or not. If you are a beginner, then 16-20 lbs will do. However, if you want to play professionally, then then the string tension should be 19-24/29lbs.

Q:What role is played by shaft flexibilty?
A:Shaft flexibility is just as crucial as balance when purchasing a badminton racquet, and the correct level for you is dependent on your wrist/arm speed. Manufacturers have generally agreed upon on categorising rackets as 'Flexible', 'Medium' and 'Stiff', though there are variations on this such as 'Medium-Stiff' and 'Extra Stiff'. Put simply, the quicker and more explosive your wrist/arm speed (often known as swing speed), the more likely you are to benefit from a stiffer shaft. The slower and smoother your wrist/arm speed, the more likely you are to benefit from a more flexible shaft. Beginners are far more likely to benefit from purchasing a racket with a flexible shaft, whereas more advanced players tend to favour stiffer shafts as advanced players have much better technique. If you are unsure about how much flex you need, then you should purchase a medium or medium-stiff flex badminton racket.Stiff A stiffer shaft will bend and then unbend very quickly, ensuring the explosive swing-speed player has the maximum power and control possible. By comparison, a slower swing-speed player would not be able to use the advantage of a stiff shaft as the shaft would not bend or unbend enough, resulting in a loss of power. Flexible A more flexible shaft will bend and unbend much more easily, ensuring that players will get the racket to bend and unbend to the required level. By comparison, a more explosive, fast swing-speed player using a more flexible frame would connect with the shuttle prematurely, before the shaft unbends and is still bent backwards, resulting in a loss of control and power.

    Q:How to choose a grip?
A:Go to your local sporting-goods store and test out some rackets. Pay particular attention to grip size, and decide whether you prefer a smaller or larger grip. You want a racket that you can easily manipulate to generate swing speed and accuracy. If the grip feels to big, you can tire yourself out maintaining a hold on your racket.
