    Description

You Were My Crush! Till You Said You Love Me! is a story based on the author’s brother Benoy Roy, who has all the material comforts that money can provide, but alas has a strained relationship with his father.

    Summary Of The Text

Benoy Roy is the nerdy and carefree protagonist of You Were My Crush! Till You Said You Love Me! He is the son of a very wealthy and powerful man, who has provided him every possible material comfort that money can buy. Since the passing of Benoy’s mother due to cancer, his relationship with his father has soured. As a result, his father’s involvement in his life is virtually non-existent.

Things take a turn for the better when he befriends a classmate named Diya. While adding Diya to his Friends list on Facebook, he notices her sister Shaina, whom he finds beautiful and decides to pursue. After a brief meeting, the pair fall in love with one another. After sharing a kiss, Shaina, who felt rather awkward, decides to leave Benoy, throwing a whole new twist into the plot.

The book shows the protagonist undergoing several transformations. First, when he meets Diya. Then, when he falls in love. And finally, when he re-establishes a relationship with his father. Datta’s book also highlights the importance of family, and stresses on parent-child relationships.

You Were My Crush! Till You Said You Love Me! was featured on the number 3 spot of the Hindustan Times Bestseller list.

    Fab book.

The book is awesome, "Benoy" I love him. Gripping and as usual it has Durjoy's style in it. Still of course I love you remains my favorite. This one is also nice. Now waiting for your next.

Now will order 'Few things left unsaid' by Sudeep Nagarkar and 'Can love happen twice' by Ravin from flipkart. My friends told me that these books are equally nice and entertaining. Flipkart at my service!

    Nothing exciting in this book

Just avg. reading (even a bit below) for casual readers.

Writing about love, bachelor life, college days, study routine, sexual encounters has its own limitations and Mr. Durjoy Datta seems to be a vicitim of carrying the similar line forward repeatedly in his books written so far.

Compare to Mr. Durjoy Datta's earlier first two novels- 'Of Course I Love You! Till I Find Someone Better' & 'Now That You're Rich ... Let's Fall In Love'; this book stands no where. Though by all fairness even w...

    'You were my crush...'

It's a badly written book, with a Bollywood B-grade type of story. Boy meets girl, then falls in love with her sister who is extremely attractive and then how he wins her over. The only thing nice about it is the cover. Please avoid at all costs!!
