Although the points he raises are epic, noteworthy, and do seem heartfelt, his writing skills kill any solid interest in the matters he talks about. If there is any blood-boiling patriotism or urge to change our country that rises from this book, it is not because of the author's excellence in conveying his point, but the i...

An Eye Opener to Indian Narrow Minded Thinking and Why India is a Failure

Firstly i would like to thank Flipkart for delivering the book today itself, on the launch date. Really good service as always.

Now talking about the book. Its just amazing the way Chetan has brought up issues and the level and way he has thought about it. Its actually good to hear views from a person who has seen soo much in life, and is a rational person at heart.

Chetan has taken random issues you would find in daily news and related them with his life and potrayed them in such a beautif...

    DISSAPOINTMENT

Disappointment, that's the word that comes to my mind after reading Chetan'slatest book 'What young India wants'. I have been a fan of his writing and still am. I have read all his books and thoroughly enjoyed them. Even though my friends and colleagues hate his work. I really appreciate his attempt to try his hand at fiction. And I appreciate the topics he has discussed.

The problem is that I am sorry to say that I'm really disgusted with his point of view that he has expressed in all th...

    Cashing on Popularity

The articles and essays are readable. Period. But what is special about the contents except for the fact that these are written by Chetan Bhagat who is popular at present? I have written better stories and articles and delivered a thought provoking address to students; But, whenever I send them to any publisher I get either a negative reply or no reply. In India everything works on luck and nothing else.
