3 stars - and I am being lenient here

I totally agree with Gayathri Nair's review.
The plot started off very well, threatening to bedazzle you any moment with a relevation, but the end was a total dissapointment. It just kinda deflated like a balloon.
The author could have done way better with the climax.
A good read, if you're ready not to pitch a lot of hope on the end.

AWESOME STORY BASE...NOT A GREAT ENDING THOUGH

The story framework was awesome, was surely a page turner. But was slightly disappointed by the ending. Not a very great end to a fantastically framed plot. The end could have been better. Nevertheless the story is surely worth reading. It was the first Dean Koontz book i read. So was a fair intro to the style of the author. Worth a one time read.
Again to mention, the plot was thrilling ,gave me goosebumps at times but ending disappointed me ....

    A good read!

Dean Koontz does a wonderful job developing the story. The characters are believable, the story is well developed, and in classic Koontz style, wastes no time in grabbing your attention and moving you along.

The protagonist, Ryan, is a complex character and the story is told with a very tight focus around him. Many things go on in the beginning to middle of the book that really aren't understood until the end. And as usual supernatural elements are there to sufficiently keep your interest fl...
