Good for newbies

its a good info-material for those who are between age of 23-30 considering, starting their career, life and financial planning and need to understand the VALUE & MEANING of various financial planning instruments. But when you already understand the difference between traditional LIC V/s Term plans, you will find it little less valuable read. i finished it in 1 sitting, like internet articles covering 10 how to's.

Awesome, must read action book on personal finance!

This is an awesome step-by-step guide to take control of your financial life. Manish has a very engaging style and pulls the reader along with him.
This is an action book! Meaning you don't wait until you finish the book. Read each step complete the steps and then move on to the next step (don't take too long though!).
This is the best way to reap benefits from this book.

If you want to change your financial life and want a step-by-step guide/exercise book this is the one to buy.

Better read newspaper!

This book is okayish for beginners but a bit too basic and childish. The price tag doesn't justify the value it offers. Its a small book with glossy pages. The information contained can be obtained free of charge by spending a bit of time on internet/blogs and using common sense. Probably good as a gift to college kids but again priced too high for that as well!

Its not Art its just a science

What many people don't know is that financial planning is not a art form done by professionals but science which can be mastered by anyone who reads and understand it.

This very concept is put down in word by Manish in this book.

This is a book that can be read and taught. Why does it stand out is the way it is presented to the end users. The real life examples and learning from mistakes is what this book portrays. As people of knowledge would say "learning from ones mistake is good and lea...

Worth a buy and exercise

More distilled copy of the similar lessons on Personal Finance Management as on any of the blogs (apnaplan, freefincal, jagoinvestor, etc).
If you haven't sat down with financial planning though, this might be a good starting point to read, sit down and access, and start acting.
