Folk Art is art that is decorative and symbolizes traditions that come from culture and community. Kolam, the traditional folk art of Tamil Nadu is applied outside homes welcoming Goddess Laxmi for prosperity and good fortune. Kolam is also seen in many other Indian states and also referred to as Rangoli. This kit includes 1 center pieces with 6 lotuses, 1 fevicol, 4 colours of organic crushed rice and stones which can be decorated and used in multiple ways to decorate your home. The base is made of high quality MDF and the coloured rice is made with crushed organic rice and food colour which makes it non messy and taste safe. Creating art in this form helps develop concentration and attention span. Size 7" center + 5" * 3" lotuses. Please note the video shows both the Kolam Kit's. This set comes with one kit only. The rice colours may mix a little in transportation.
