As you all know that set top box is mandate for all now. So can somebody tell me whether it can be connected with set top box to watch channels in laptop or not. And if you have bought it pls tell me whether it contains all the cables required to connect it with set top box or not? Pls comment asap. Thanks again..

nice and handy.. easy to use.. but not recommended for a full on tv, can be used with hours of gap limits.. or else it becomes very much heated.

i use this TV tuner last 1 month nice TV receiving and recording and 2channal surround sound nice .full value of money.very small to carry and work fine with normal cable TV connection.

Okay, this device is special because I took a risk while ordering it. I wanted to watch tv on my office laptop without installing anything (I don't have administrative rights for installing the simplest of .exe files due to security reasons).

Guess what, this device is plug and play if used with VLC media player and standard set top box. You can let the cd/dvd rest in the packet, and use VLC's 'Open Capture Device' to get a perfectly working tv on your laptop.

at the time of installation i got some problem, but then only i came to know that its my cables problem, but not my tuners problem. after i rectified it i get good signal. now my tuner is working fine. the same drawback is the audio. its a little bit noisy, but the video is fine. other than that the product is a best buy for its price range.
though the audio is not good, i give this product a five star for offering something great for a little cash.

Tuner was able to search all channels well in moderate time.
The video clarity is bit lower than that displayed by TV. But thats expected in any TV tuner cards.
Audio is bit jarring.
Switching between channels is fast.
Software bundled is not perfect, but can live with.
The remote is a joke. You will end up using the computer's keyboard or mouse to change channels.
Its compact, good value for money.

The tuner card offers good quality of video. Schedule recording is good and now I don't miss my favourite programs. The remote is excellent with good range.

This TV tuner comes with RC Female cord, which is suitable to connect even set-top box of tata sky, airtel etc.

I received my tuner 3 days after I placed the order. It was packaged well and arrived in perfect condition. The picture quality is decent enough & allows you to record live tv as well. It actually did pretty much what it promised. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase and do recommend it! :)
