Other Features
If you’re washing the baking brush by hand, let it soak in warm soapy water at the bottom of the sink while you’re doing all the other dishes. Then swish it around in the water, rinse well with clean warm water, then let dry. You can use the baking brush solely as a brush for marinades, or you can use the baster feature to pull juices from a pan, then release them through the bristles to baste a piece of meat or roasting vegetables or anything that benefits from a repeated dose of moisture while it cooks.
