Only go for this card if you are stuck between 780, 780Ti and this.
It is the newest card in the Maxwell architecture(same as the 750 and 750Ti) and so is very quiet and extremely power efficient.
It is also marginally faster than the 780Ti in game benchmarks.

Believe or not, it is the fastest gaming gpu on the planet....this time Nvidia comes up with Maxwell, it is an efficient gpu core that utlizes less power and gives maximum output...it goes head to head with the gtx 780ti and destryoys it in terms of FPS, power consumption and heat output....the benefit of having this Gpu is not experienced untill...undergone SLI.
With two of them u can destroy any game at 4k resolution....i hope that i might have helped u and for those who did not found this ...

Do not buy this card, buy the Zotac GTX970 instead because the performance difference is just 12% that means just 5-10 fps extra on games with GTX980 compared to GTX970 and the most important part both of them are having the exact same memory bandwidth, so if you do not want to waste some money for little more performance then i tell go for GTX970.

Rather go to the GTX 970 If u wanna save some money. Almost the same benchmarks. But a lil more FPS thats 3-4 more.
