Evolving from a collaborator to an ASICS creative consultant and brand ambassador, Kiko Kostadinov re-envisions the late 2000s aesthetic of the GEL-KAYANO 14 sneakers with a retro-futurism approach. On the upper, Kiko keeps the shoe’s technical construction intact while modifying the design with synthetic leather overlays and elongated pull tabs on the tongue and heel. Retracing the original midsole functionality, the GEL-KAYANO 14 sneaker incorporates components such as GEL technology cushioning and DYNAMIC DUOMAX technology, which continue to influence our performance running range.
