Based on the 1987 TV series of the same name and a prequel to 22 Jump Street, 21 Jump Street is an action crime-comedy film that stars 2-time Academy Award-nominee Jonah Hill of The Wolf of Wall Street fame, Channing Tatum (played the leading role in Step Up), Brie Larson and Ice Cube, hip-hop sensation turned movie star. This hilarious film follows two undercover agents, Morton Schmidt and Greg Jenko, of the covert Jump Street unit who are happy to have somehow managed to made it through the nightmare that was their high school years. Now, however, the both of them are required to trade in their badges for backpacks as they have to revisit the horror known as school so as to take down a deadly drug ring. Schmidt and Jenko soon realize that school is nothing like it used to be and that the demons of their past might be harder to confront than they imagined.
